Personality test
from our teachers Anton van den Berg en Gerard van Soelen we had to do a personality test for our new project. With this you could see what kind of character you have. These were my results
Mood board
The first day we started working on this project, the clients came by. They gave us the assignment to make a mood board with all kinds of small ideas about what we ultimately want to do with our garland, because the end product must be a garland that is related to 'celebration'. We had to do it individual. So i decided to make a board about Las Vegas and Casino's. I chose to do this because there are always a lot of lights at casino and you can go in many directions with it

I managed to achieve my learning goals because we never thought the cards could give light and I made dice that went wrong again and again but at the end i did it.
The essay
The theme we have chosen is ''las Vegas/casino''. The purpose of our idea is to show people that 'happiness' still exists even though we haven't gone to disco parties for 2 years because of Covid-19. Many people have fallen into a depression during this time, we want to show that there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

The planning
Our idea
we have chosen the theme ''Las Vegas/Casinos''. We want to make a garland with all poker cards, dice and a large sign that says "Welcome to Las Vegas". The theme of Amsterdam light festival itself is "celebrite light" so we will also work with LED lights so that it all looks a bit become happier.
The proces
you can see exactly what we have done in the planning. First of all, we divided the tasks between who did which part of the garland. I made the dice. I had to do this again and again several times. This was certainly a tough job, but I finally succeeded. I also had to make the subsystem. I did this together with Sanae. We painted the inside black first and then I painted the outside gray. I also made a mini pool table that came with this and parking garages. all in all i made a mini casino.
